gnome-user-guide software package provides GNOME users guide, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-user-guide
gnome-user-guide is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-user-guide package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-user-guide *
You will get with gnome-user-guide package name, version, architecture and description in a table
